Hi, who is the Traveling Gypsy?
My name is Susan.
The name traveling gypsy came from my amazing adoptive father. Every time I traveled or moved he would tell me I was the traveling gypsy. He told me and anyone who would listen that I had the blood of a Gypsy and couldn't stay in one place long enough to get roots.
My love of travel started many years ago.
I grew up in Arkansas and besides Oklahoma and Tennessee, I didn't travel to many places outside of Arkansas.
When I turned 23 I started traveling all over the USA. My first trip was a road trip with some friends to California and Nevada. We spent week driving, hanging out, and exploring. This is where my love for traveling started.
I then moved to Michigan when I was 25. I lived in the Grand Rapids area. I fell in love with the state. But my heart called me home to Arkansas. So I moved home. But continued to travel to different places. My all time favorite place to visit in the US is New York City. I have been there too many times to count and have made countless memories in the Big Apple.
In late 2011 the travel bug hit me again and I ended up moving to North Dakota and then Montana. But once again Arkansas called to my heart and I came home in early 2012. This followed a long stay in Arkansas, but I have continued to travel to different places with different people. I have a continuing bucket list of places I want to go to,

Now a new road is being paved for me. 2019 has not been the greatest year for me but it has been eventful. It is now sending me off to Ohio. So join me while I move almost 700 miles away from my steady home of the past 7 years.
